The movie has got a cult fan following and is considered to be one such movie that grows with time. Certain sections of the audiences, especially people who are fond of road movies did love the movie to the core. The film directed by Sameer Thahir was produced by him, under the banner of Happy Hours Entertainment and E4Entertainment. The film had its script written by Hashir Mohamed. Cinematography of the film was handled by Gireesh Gangadharan.
Apart from Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Wayne, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi did have actors like Joy Mathew, Shane Nigam, Baby Anikha, Vanitha Krishnachandram etc. in important roles. The movie also introduced some other state actors like Surja Bala, Dhrithiman Chatterjee, Ena Saha etc. Later, Sameer Thahir went on to join hands with Dulquer Salmaan once again, for the recently released film Kali, which also was in the lines of a road based thriller.
