Now that Shivaay is in the post-production stage, Ajay Devgn is moving on to his next project. And what’s more interesting is that after successful collaborations of Golmaal, Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, Singham and its sequel, Ajay and Rohit Shetty are coming together again for the next instalment of the Golmaal franchise – Golmaal 4.
Apparently, Rohit and Ajay had been trying to meet for months but Ajay couldn’t make it because of Shivaay. As per a report by DNA India, a source quoted, “Despite their differences, both are very fond of each other and Rohit messaged Ajay to meet and discuss things. On Thursday night, Ajay called the director to his Juhu bungalow. They met and spoke for over three hours. Ajay told him how hurt and upset he was by some things he’d heard. It was an emotional reunion where both cleared their differences and then discussed Golmaal 4, which should roll by the end of the year once scripting is complete. Rohit never forgets the fact that Ajay had given him his directorial break in Zameen.”
Earlier there had been rumours of a rift between Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty, which got fuelled when Rohit worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Chennai Express and Dilwale. However, if rifts were there any at all, they sure have sorted it now that they have had talks about Golmaal 4. As per reports, Rohit Shetty was supposed to start Ram Lakhan after Dilwale, but now he is going ahead with Golmaal 4.
