The film had hit 10 million views on YouTube for its teaser in a flash. The teaser had received a massive response. It was released on 4th February 2016 and has till now hit over 11,071,400 views on YouTube in the 10 months. The interesting factor here is that this record was broken by Vijay's own Bairavaa teaser. Bairavaa's teaser was released on 27th October and has hit 11,118,583 views in less than 45 days. This record set by the teaser establishes the fact that the expectations for Bairavaa are immensely high.
