‘Wazir’ director’s eye is on One of Maniratnam’s classic Action Dramas ‘Agni Nachathiram’. 1988’s sensational hit starring Prabhu Ganeshan and Karthik Muthuraman is about to get remade by Bejoy Nambiar. He chose Harshvardhan rane and Vicky kaushal to play the main leads.
Harshvardhan was seen in couple of Bollywood movies earlier and showed some decent acting skills. On the other hand, it is Vicky who is exciting the whole Bollywood for his next release Ramana Raghav 2.0. Bejoy said he has seen their work earlier, thinks they both are amazing actors and fit the characters very accurately.
Bejoy did work for Maniratnam as assistant earlier in his direction department and have huge admiration towards his work. So, partially you can see it as, Bejoy is trying to recreate his idol’s legendry work and give a tribute to him. Well, Good Luck with it Bejoy!
