As we all know Varun Tej was injured while shooting for an action sequence for his upcoming film Mister in Ooty. Varun felt the injury was minor, but doctors found that his leg was fractured and he is advised to take bed rest for at least a month days.
This is causing disturbance to shooting schedules of Varun Tej's two ongoing projects- Mister and Fida. This delay would cost bomb for producers as huge sum is being spent on them.
No producer makes films with their own money and each day of delay will turn out to be big burden for them in terms of finance interests.
Already call sheets of prominent cast was locked for new schedule of Fida to be shot in US. But, Varun's injury led to cancellation of the schedule which is expected to begin either in end of November or early in December. This postponement in Fida will also disturb other film Mister.
While Srinu Vaitla directing Mister is billed to be a romantic action entertainer, Sekhar Kammula directing Fida is said to be a hilarious love saga. Both the films are likely to release in first half of 2017.
