Dhanush is playing dual roles reportedly of a father and son for the first time in his career in ‘Kodi’ directed by Durai Senthilkumar and he has confirmed via Twitter that the film will release on Diwali this year which would probably be on the 28th of October as the festival is on Sunday the 30th.Trisha and ‘Premam’ heroine Anupama Parameshwaran play the love interests for Dhanush in Kodi, produced by Wunderbar Films. Santhosh Narayanan scores the music, Venkatesh handles the camera and Praveen K.L. the cuts. The film is expected to lock horns with Karthi’s ‘Kashmora’ which has also locked the same auspicious date.
