First Look Launch of '2.0' starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson was held in Mumbai on Sunday. Salman Khan has attended the launch as Chief Guest. This Shankar directorial will be released in 3D for Diwali next year.
Rajinikanth: '3D version of '2.0' will offer a new experience. The real hero of the movie is Akshay Kumar. If I was given an opportunity to choose, I would have picked up Akshay's role. The whole country would praise his performance. Working with Shankar is tough. He is a perfectionist. '2.0' is a film which takes Indian Cinema to Hollywood standards. I myself was surprised with the 3D experience. If Salman says Yes, I'm ready to work with him'.
Salman Khan: 'I respect Rajinikanth a lot. Though I don't have an invitation from him, I have come to this event. Why don't Karan Johar make films of Shankar-kind?'.
Akshay Kumar: 'I believed the story so much. It will create history. I worked so hard for the makeover. It used to take 3 hours per day for make-up alone. Working with Rajini is a nice experience. '2.0' will create history in Indian Cinema'.
Shankar: "The hard work I had put in for '2.0' is 10 times more than that of 'Robo'. Its like climbing an everest. There will be a sequel to '2.0' as well".
