Generally, Films with titles such as 'Kashmora' will fall in the Horror genre. However, The theatrical trailer of Karthi starrer 'Kashmora' pleasantly surprised everyone with an episode set in Period backdrop. It even have a crucial block dealing with the evil spirits. Visuals were going to be an eye-feast.
Even Karthi feels 'Kashmora' can't fit in one particular genre. In his opinion, Its a fantasy-horror-thriller-historical-comedy flick. Which means, This high-budget flick is a blend of five genres.
Trailer might give a feeling that 'Kashmora' is a serious flick but Makers have included ample comic elements in it. 'I have played three roles in the movie. Out of them, The character of Kashmora is so crucial and it is about black magic. Raj Nayak is the role of a Warrior and he belongs to the era which existed 500 years ago. I can't reveal details about third role as of now. That's a suspense. You would be thrilled to watch it on screen'.
