Imman in record books

Music director D Imman has found a place in the Limca Book of Records. For his Nenjil, an eight-year-old boy Siddharth had played the drums.

Says Imman, "I was impressed by the talents of Siddharth. At such young age, he possesses incredible talents. Hence I used him in my movie. It is the first-time that a eight-year-old boy has played drums in an Indian movie."

This year, it was Imman who scored music for the maximum number of movies. He has composed songs for a total of nine movies in 2006.

He says, "I thank Almighty for giving me enough offers. I want to continue my good run."

On doing remixes, Imman says, "I am not keen on doing remix songs. I do what the director demands from me. I hope that in 2007, I establish a new style for myself."
