‘Janatha Garage’ has become the first Indian movie to be “screened in more than 40 XD screens at Cinemark” in the overseas market. This is a record for the NTR movie. The XD screens come with special features like an “oversize, wall-to-wall and ceiling-to-floor screen” that enhances the movie-watching experience.
Meanwhile, the team has started off with promotions on different TV channels. “The interviews should be up in TV channels today evening”, says an NTR aide.
Slated for a grand Sept 1 release, the movie is expected to rake in humongous collections overseas through premieres on Aug 31. As for the domestic market, several theatres in the Nizam area have already announced mid-night shows starting from 12:30 a.m.
