Superstar Rajinikanth has paid tribute to late J.Jayalalitha yesterday at the mouring event organised by Nadigar Sangam. He has described her as a Kohinoor diamond who came out successful in the male dominated society.He also felt sorry for his earlier statement "even God can't save Tamil Nadu" if Jayalalithaa's AIADMK was elected to power again" during the 1996 polls criticising Jayalalitha, which eventually led to her defeat in the elections."Today, she is resting like a kohinoor diamond at the MGR memorial site and enjoys the love and affection of so many people," Rajini added.
