The first look motion poster of Dhanush's political thriller Kodi, directed by Durai Senthilkumar, looks progressing. The film has already being confirmed as a Deepavali treat. For the first time, Kodi will have Dhanush in dual avatar and from the first look, it looks like he will be playing the role of a twin. The film's audio, composed by Santosh Narayanan, will be released on Oct 5.
Reportedly, the film will revolve around the construction of a nuclear plant in a village. Dhanush and Trisha play the politician and whether the plant will be built forms the story. Produced by Vetrimaaran's Grassroot and Escape Artist, the film is a quickie. Premam girl Anupama Parameswaran plays Dhanush's romantic interest while Trisha appears in a bold role.
