One of the biggest South Indian awards events, SIIMA was so colorful this year with number of stars in their best fashion wear on the glittery nights with loads of fun and awesome moments. Stars from all South Indian films graced the event and all of them enjoyed the function. But only the Tamil film makers were able to grab some light along with awards ceremony and stars, while Telugu film makers failed to do so. Let us see why that is.
Finding all the South film fraternity at one place is not a small thing. Making it an advantage, some Tamil film makers launched their film trailers at the event and obviously they get all the eyes at the venue on them for few minutes. The trailers of star hero's film and another movie Romeo were launched at SIIMA this year.
While no one from Telugu filmdom looked upon this opportunity to catch some attention their films can get, though there are lots of small and medium budget films getting released in short time. Big ticket films get their promotion and publicity anyway.
No one dares to disagree the best chance of promoting their films at such huge events and Tamil film makers made the optimum use of SIIMA event. Looks like our Telugu film makers need to think a second about making the best use of these award functions to promote their movies, that too when the organizers are from our own Telugu land.
