The films of Mahesh Babu are normally known to clock record ratings when it comes to the TRPs. But this time around, things have turned around for the actor as his earlier film; Brahmotsavam was also a failure on the small screens with a TRP rating of 7.52.
The movie which has topped this year is Bichagadu with a TRP of 18.75 and Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh was next with a rating of 15.24. Sai Dharam Tej’s movie Supreme and Ram’s movie Nenu Shailaja too has good TRPs of 14.79 and 12.37. NTR’s Naannaku Prematho too had a decent TRP of 12.37.
It is known news that ZEE TV has bought the satellite rights of Brahmotsavam for a whooping Rs. 11.20 crores which was one of the highest bids. This was one deal that was finalized just before the release of the film and the box office debacle and the negative review of the film also affected the television premiere.
