Mammootty, the megastar is finally joining hands with hitmaker Jeethu Joseph, for his next venture. In a recent interview given to Manorama online, director Jeethu revealed more details about the project. According to the versatile director, his untitled Mammootty project is an out-and-out thriller. The movie revolves around some unexpected incidents happen in a city, within a time span of 24 hours. Reportedly, Mammootty's character in the movie is a commoner, who lives in the city. the megastar is said to be highly impressed with the story and immediately agreed to do the film when Jeethu approached him.
The title of the movie, female lead, rest of the star cast, technical crew, and further details are expected to be revealed soon. The movie will start rolling immediately after Mammootty completes his current projects. Earlier, Jeethu Joseph had approached the megastar for his blockbuster movies Drishyam and Memories. But he turned down both the projects, citing that the storylines are similar to some of his previous movies.
Later, Mammootty himself suggested Mohanlal and Prithviraj for Drishyam and Memories, respectively. Both the movies earned rave reviews, among which Drishyam emerged as the highest ever grosser of Mollywood.
