Pawan Kalyan has signed 'Vedhalam' Telugu remake to be directed by 'Jilla' fame Naeson. While AM Ratnam presents the biggie, S Aishwarya produces it under the banner Sri Sai Ram Creations.If the sources are to be believed, Samantha is the first choice for female lead in 'Vedhalam' Telugu remake. Makers, however, dropped the idea of casting her after she quoted a remuneration of close to Rs 2 crore. On the other hand, Nayantara has cut down her pay package a bit and agreed to do the project for Rs 1.2 crore despite being the highest paid actress in Kollywood.'Vedhalam' remake might go on floors only in the second half of 2017.
Soon after wrapping up 'Katamarayudu', Pawan Kalyan would join the shoot of Trivikram's 'Devude Digi Vachina'. Which means, Naeson will have to wait for at least one year.
