Rgv's caste based controversial film 'Vangaveeti' is hitting cinemas today. The senior director has been busy promoting his film aggressively for the past couple of days attending media interviews. It is a known thing that Rgv frequently posts tweets on Megastar Chiranjeevi and Power Star Pawan Kalyan in his twitter handle.
When quizzed about why the director showed special interest in posting Chiranjeevi and his 150th film, Rgv said he had been a hardcore fan of Chiranjeevi and the star would a movie like 'Baahubali' so that it could be reaching places..
Like mega fans and other movie lovers, analysts too feel Rgv unnecessarily targets mega heroes. Even if above suggestion of the director is considered seriously, Chiranjeevi doesn't need a movie like 'Baahubali' because the star had already created history and had brought honour and fame to Telugu cinema long back.
There is another version that movies like 'Baahubali' make directors and other technicians earning more fame rather its cast. One simple example is that Young Rebel Star Prabhas, in spite of playing main lead in the film, couldn't replace any top order big star of Tollywood in craze except to keep his position safe like before. "It doesn't mean top heroes shouldn't do period films. The themes of the films should completely be based on heroism like 'Troy' and other things should be given secondary importance," say analysts.
