Actor Shivaji attacked state and central governments regarding special status to Andhra Pradesh through a video after Jana Sena party chief announced his action plan for the same.
Shivaji made strong remarks on union minister Sujana Chowdary alleging he deliberately lied to the people of the state that the Centre had released Rs.10,000 crore. He also blamed another union minister Venkaiah Naidu for not taking the issue seriously.
TDP and BJP leaders reacted strongly to Shivaji's controversial remarks. Chittoor MP Sivaprasad warned Shivaji for accusing ruling party and the leaders.
"Shivaji should know how TDP MPs are fighting for special status to the state. Sujana Chowdary is acting as bridge between state and center. He is regularly notifying Chandrababu Naidu's deliberations on the matter. If you comment on such responsible leaders, I will cut your tongue," asserted Sivaprasad who also acted in several films in Telugu.
The AP Special Status Samakya Sadhana committee president Shivaji in the video said that he will commit suicide before CM Chandrababu Naidu's residence, if leaders show interest to accept package rather than special status.
TDP and BJP activists say that, Shivaji is doing all this hungama is for media attention since he is almost fading out of films.
