'Houseful 3' is second biggest Bollywood opener of 2016 after 'Fan'. On Day 1, It collected an impressive Rs 15.21 crore. Weekend revenue could be over Rs 50 crore. Overseas revenue for the movie is excellent and it earned $2 million by Friday itself.
Even before the release, Akshay Kumar has said he is well aware of what Critics would say about the movie. Who cares about critics as long as the films are making profits?
The plot of 'Houseful 3' is simple. Three Daughters (Jacqueline, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon) of Batuk fall in love with Sandy (Akshay), Bunty (Abhishek) and Teddy (Riteish). They have few disabilities like being mute, blind and crippled. Story takes a turn when these three exchange their disabilities when knowing Batuk owes a Don (Jackie Shroff) Rs 5,000 crore.
