Why National Anthem In Cinemas?

Pawan Kalyan Defines PATRIOTISM!

In yet another profuse Twitter storm, Pawan Kalyan defined ‘Patriotism’ in own style keeping his Fans and followers engaged for the day. In Pawan’s words,

True Patriotism will come into experience when an individual or a political party goes beyond caste, creed, class, religion, region, ethnic n linguistic differences. Patriotism cannot be seen with one party’s perspective or ideals. True patriotism is deeply rooted in human values and it is holistic nature.

In democracy, differing with ruling party’s opinion or policy cannot be labeled as anti-national, even if they want to take such extreme view about their opponents, first let them hear out… without stifling their voice, then take the needed action. In haste, they take any action it will only backfire as it did… in the JNU students’ sedition case and it was proven that the tape was doctored.

A simple evening to spend time with family and friends to watch a movie has been made into a Testing Ground to prove one’s patriotism. Why not political parties start their meetings with National Anthem, why only cinemas? Why not the highest offices in the country? Those who preach and enforce laws – why don’t they lead us by example? So, they are ‘SIGN POSTS??’

And when I see all this it reminds me of American Economist Thomas Sowell’s words:

Are we turning the law into a trap for honest people and bonanza for charlatans?
