A Telecom Firm for which MS Dhoni was a brand ambassador accused the Indian Skipper of misleading the court.
Apparently, Dhoni alleges Maxx Mobilink Pvt Ltd defied the High Court order issued in 2014 by using his name to promote and sell its products. The Telecom Company, however, told the court that it had never misused the name of India's limited overs skipper.
Maxx Mobilink Pvt Ltd MD Ajjay R Agarwal claims his company hasn't sold a single product using the name or picture of Dhoni post November 17th, 2014. He added that his firm removed all the promotional materials relating to Dhoni from his websites and Facebook page. At the same time, He accused Dhoni of willfully misleading the court only to create an panic situation.
The Counsel appearing for Dhoni sought time to file a counter to Affidavit filed by Maxx Mobilink Pvt Ltd. Hence, The next hearing was posted to January 24th, 2017.
