Thanks to the buzz surrounding Ram's Hyper, the film's US rights were sold for a fancy price of over 375 k USD and this is said to be a staggering price. Ram's last film Nenu Sailaja has done nearly Rs 2.15 Crore share in US and the film was highest-grosser in Ram's career ever. Even for break-even in US, Hyper has to cross the NS overall collections in US.
However, the ray of hope is upcoming holiday season. Though Nenu Sailaja too had this advantage of Sankranthi holidays, the film really didn't gain out of it as films like Dictator, Soggade Chinni Nayana, Express Raja came. Contrary to that, Hyper has a slighter advantage as no big releases are around the corner.
In addition to this, Hyper marks the success combo of Santosh Srinivas and Ram who earlier delivered a hit like Kandireega. But to get great profit, Hyper has to surpass NS record by a record margin. Let's wait and see whether Ram repeats the feat or not.
